Robert F. Hogan, Jr.

President & CEO

 

Robert F. (Bob) Hogan, Jr., has been the President & Chief Executive Officer of AmerCable since 1993. In June 2002, following a management-led buyout of the company, he added the title of Chairman.

 

Hogan served from 1984 to 1993 as Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary for AmerCable’s former parent company, Associated Materials Incorporated, in Dallas, Texas, before being named President and CEO of AmerCable. Prior to joining Associated Materials Incorporated, Hogan was a Manager in the audit division of Ernst & Young LLP. Hogan holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Virginia Tech University.

 

He has served on the Board of the National Mining Association since 2001 and serves on the Finance Committee of the National Ocean Industries Association.

 

Hogan has been a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) since 1995. He actively participates in the Houston and Arkansas chapters and has served as Chairman of the Arkansas Chapter.

 

Hogan served on the Board of Directors of the South Arkansas Arts Center. He also served on the Board of Directors of El Dorado Golf and Country Club from 1998 to early 2002, most recently as President. In 2000 Hogan was Chairman of the annual fund raising campaign for the DeSoto Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

 

Hogan and his wonderful wife, Alison, have three children. He enjoys co-coaching little league teams, playing errant golf, and “rough-housing” with his golden retrievers.

 

 

Chad E. Archer

Vice President of Finance, CFO

 

Mr. Archer has been the Vice President of Finance, CFO, Treasurer and Secretary of AmerCable Incorporated since 2002. Mr. Archer joined the AmerCable division of AMI in the position of Controller in 1995 and became Vice President of Finance in 2000.  Prior to AmerCable, Mr. Archer held controllership positions with Arkansas Aerospace and Raytheon Corporate Jets from 1991 to 1994 and Amfuel from 1994 to 1995. He also served as Supervision Senior for KPMG Peat Marwick’s audit division from 1987 to 1991. Mr. Archer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting degree from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Archer has maintained a certificate as a certified public accountant since 1987 and has been a member of Financial Executives International (FEI) since 1996.

 

 

Rodney T. Cole

Vice President of Operations

 

Mr. Cole has been Vice President of Operations of AmerCable Incorporated since 2002 and served in that same capacity for the AmerCable division of AMI from 1995 to 2002. Prior to that, he served as Manufacturing Manager for Baldwin Piano & Organ – Contract Electronics Division where he was responsible for upgrading the division from through-hole assembly manufacturing to state-of-the-art surface mount technology. He was also responsible for delivering a significant reduction in manufacturing lead times and improving on time delivery performance. Earlier, Mr. Cole spent 13 years with General Dynamics Corporation where he held positions in program management, quality management and operations management for the Sparrow, Standard Missile and Stinger Programs. These responsibilities included an assignment as the Standard Missile Program Manager and Manufacturing Operations Manager. Mr. Cole earned a Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and a Master of Science in operations management from the University of Arkansas.

 

 

Stephen M. Dillard

Vice President - Oil & Gas

 

Mr. Dillard has been Vice President of the Oil & Gas business unit of AmerCable Incorporated since November 2003.  Before joining AmerCable, Mr. Dillard served as Vice President of Operations for Cooper Energy Services. Mr. Dillard also worked for Centrilift, where he served as Vice President - Motor Product Group and Worldwide Distribution. His other previous management experience includes positions with Thermo Electron Corporation, Noran Instruments, Inc., Philips Petroleum Corporation and Williams Brothers Engineering Company. Mr. Dillard earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1974.

 

 

David C. Nasky

Vice President - Mining & Industrial

 

Mr. Nasky has been the Vice President of the Mining & Industrial business unit of AmerCable Incorporated since the end of 2003. He was previously Vice President of Sales and Marketing of AmerCable Incorporated from 2002 through 2003 and served in that same capacity for the Amercable division of AMI from 1992 until 2002. Mr. Nasky’s previous experience includes 22 years of sales and operations management with Anaconda-Ericsson, Burrus & Mathews and Condumex, Inc. where he served as General Manager. Mr. Nasky earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from the University of Texas and has continued his education through the Harvard Executive Management Series.

 

 

Erick P. Wiggins

Human Resources Director

 

Mr. Wiggins is on his second tour of duty leading AmerCable’s Human Resources department and serving as the Employee Champion. He previously served in this role for AmerCable, Division of Associated Materials Incorporated from 1997-1999.  During his time away from AmerCable, Mr. Wiggins honed his HR skills in the consumer products industry with Unilever, and for consumer products giant Reckitt Benckiser. Mr. Wiggins returned to his present position with AmerCable in spring 2005.

 

Mr. Wiggins earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) awarded by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is a 
co-founder of the Golden Triangle Human Resources Association, where he currently  
serves as co-president.  He holds a BSE from the University of Arkansas.
