Robert F. Hogan, Jr.

President & CEO

Robert F. Hogan, Jr., 54, is President & Chief Executive Officer of AmerCable Incorporated since June 2002 when he executed a management-led buyout of AmerCable in partnership with private equity firm Wingate Partners. Hogan and his management team subsequently partnered with two other private equity firms in successful recapitalizations of the Company delivering returns of 4x in 2005 and 5x in 2007 to its investors.

AmerCable develops, manufactures and sells highly engineered, jacketed electrical cable and cable assembly solutions and value-added services, primarily to customers in the global energy infrastructure and natural resource industries, and holds leading market positions in key underground and surface mining, onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling and production, and solar alternative energy markets. The Company's cable and cable assembly solutions and services are most often utilized in severe operating environments with harsh, rugged conditions where safety and performance are paramount and the cost of machine downtime significantly outweighs the cost of its products.

Hogan served from 1984 to 1993 as Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary for AmerCable's parent company, Associated Materials Incorporated, in Dallas, Texas, before being named President and CEO of AmerCable Division of AMI in 1993. He is now a member of the successor global World Presidents' Organization (WPO) and Chief Executives Organization (CEO).

Hogan has served on the Board of Directors of the National Mining Association ("NMA") since 2001 and currently represents the Manufacturers and Services Division on NMA's Executive Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Ocean Industries Association for which he actively participates on the association's Finance Committee.

Hogan appeared with President George Bush in April 2004 at a town hall style meeting in El Dorado, Arkansas to discuss "Education and Development in the Workforce". Hogan and the AmerCable management team were featured in author Keith McFarland's 2008 #1 New York Times business best-seller, "Breakthrough Companies," as well as a McFarland October 2005 article in Inc. magazine. Hogan was a member of a panel formed to discuss "Selecting the Right Private Equity Partner" at the April 2004 annual meeting of the Association for Corporate Growth. He spoke in April 2007 at the Marine Offshore Outlook Conference on Trends in Technology for the global Oil & Gas market. Hogan also spoke in May 2005 at the Eastern Coal Council annual meeting on "Safety, Technology, and Innovation in Mining".

AmerCable's global reach covers more than 30 countries supported by a workforce of approximately 345 associates. AmerCable's Oil & Gas Business headquarters in Houston, Texas, where it also operates connector assembly manufacturing, warehouse distribution, and top-drive equipment repair and recertification.
