AmerCable Team Visits Mining Hall of Fame and Museum

8/18/2007

On a recent team-building trip to Colorado, the AmerCable mining team visited the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum.  Located in the famous 1880's boomtown of Leadville, Colorado, The National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum is a monument to the memory of the men and women who pioneered the discovery, development and processing of our nation's natural resources.

As the leading producer of mining cables in the United States, AmerCable has been a long-time contributing sponsor of the museum. After touring this great facility, AmerCable president and CEO Robert F. (Bob) Hogan presented an additional donation to museum director Sam McGeorge.

Hogan commented, "It is inspiring to visit the Mining Hall of Fame and read about the great leaders and inventors that have made this industry what it is today." He added, "Everything begins with mining."
