The David Fox Geronimo Award
“David Fox lived the core values of our company and worked tirelessly to help us Be The Best,” says AmerCable President and CEO Bob Hogan. “He was a courageous leader and our people supported and followed David because they believed in him and his principles.”
The Geronimo Award, named to honor Fox’s passion for sky diving and taking on the toughest challenges, in not an annual award. It is presented at the All Employee Meeting when an employee has performed above and beyond their normal call of duty.
Winners of the Prestigious award are:
David Nasky, Vice President of AmerCable's Mining and Industrial Group, was awarded the first David Fox Geronimo Award at the company's All-Employee Celebration dinner held on January 13, 2006. Mr. Nasky, who has been with the company since 1993, was recognized for his tireless efforts and countless miles traveled internationally to develop our global markets. Presenting Mr. Nasky (center) with his award are AmerCable President and CEO Bob Hogan and Liz Fox.
Bill Reisdorff, AmerCable's Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager, was awarded the David Fox Geronimo Award at the company's All-Employee Celebration dinner held on January 12, 2007. Mr. Reisdorff leads AmerCable's initiative to continually upgrade, modify and expand our plant facilities and processing technologies. As a result, we have experienced unprecedented growth in sales, product innovation and profitability.
Mary Beth Alexander, AmerCable's Houston office Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager was awarded the David Fox Geronimo Award at the company's All-Employee Celebration dinner held on January 13, 2009. In September 2008, Hurricane Ike slammed into the Texas Coast causing destruction, flooding and power outages throughout the city of Houston. Ms. Alexander worked tirelessly and creatively to keep our Houston office operational despite a lack of power for almost 10 days.
